Employee Training Icon In this presentation, we will discuss the purpose behind Disability Awareness Month, provide examples of the various disabilities students may have, examples of what this looks like in the classroom (along with accommodations we provide), and will go over the do’s and dont’s when working with someone who has a disability. We plan for this to be an open discussion of more than just accommodations in the classroom; we want to discuss disability as a whole in both academia and work settings and answer any questions that the general public may not know.

We’ll start by covering a variety of sexuality topics including but not limited to, Sex, Love, Healthy Relationships, Communication, and Consent and see where the conversation takes us when students start texting in anonymous questions to be answered live during the event. Students will leave educated, informed, and empowered to take charge of their sexuality in safe and appropriate ways.
